Central woodchip heating provides heating for the new Elfengrund Hombrechtikon housing project. The building is a mixed construction made of exposed concrete and prefabricated wood elements. The structure of the concrete, created using OSB plates, references the woodchips stored inside the station. Its facade in vertical, pre-weathered grey larch cladding also references the building’s use.
