The Citroen DS19, 1961 vintage, underwent comprehensive restoration in 2010/2011. The starting point for the work was the conversion of the hydraulic system from LHS to LHM. The opportunity was taken to simultaneously rebuild the engine and gears, repaint the frame, body and underbody using original colours, and to reupholster the seats in reproductions of the original patterns and fabrics. The emphasis was on reproducing rather than exchanging all of the original parts, in order to stay as close as possible to the original delivery state. Only NOS replacement parts were used for one necessary replacement.
